The Chiricahua Desert Museum and its collections are an integral resources to scientists interested in studing any of the rare species  maintained at the Museum, including the collection of DNA samples that are otherwise unavailable.  The Museum has also aided film companies such, as National Geographic and others, through the use of our collections and expertise about the desert Southwest.  We endevor to make available all of the Chiricahua Desert Museums resources to anyone that looks to further  study and appreciate the natural history of the North American deserts.
